1.8 MGA/ MGB B series injection supercharger kit
Vmaxscart B series MGB Injection supercharger kit based on our best selling B series carb kit, Complete with pulleys , belt, supercharger, 45mm throttle body , pre mapped K6 Emerald ecu Flying lead wiring harness, fuel pump, regulator , all sensors plugs etc, coil pack, special trigger tdc for crank pulley, AEM wideband unit to allow self mapping, and chargecooler.
There is a choice of colours available or you can supply your paint code to be matched.
The kit is ultimately designed for standard or mildly tuned engines, in rev ranges 1200-6000rpm . A decompression plate supplied (stainless shim fitted between two Payen composite gaskets) in the kit to reduce the compression ratio if your engines compression ratio has been increased. A new billet annodised 6061 alloy front pulley provides a vee drive for the existing water pump/alternator and an extra drive for the supercharger, these two opposing belts give acoustic damping to delete engine harmonics. The modified Eaton Supercharger is mounted on our Cast alloy inlet manifold deveoped by F1 engineers.
Will it fit all B's? ; Earlier cars may need the tappet chest breather canister modifying if fitted (some early US spec cars have this) . And some cars required the radiator to be spaced foward by an inch to give clearance on the ridgid top hose spigot. Engines with high performance high lift n cams are less suitable due to overlap, but still can be used and the kit will make wilder engine specs more driviable and give smoother power delivery.
